    I was sick Monday/Tuesday, so I missed my Tuesday run. I decided to just drop that one and pick back up with the scheduled Thursday run. I felt fine.

    I ran with Brian up to South Lake Campground and back. It was pretty cold, but I was okay. I struggled on the unexpected long uphill to the campground.

  18. I'm looking for a half marathon in the late April / early May timeframe, for me, Laura, and my dad!!! Has anyone here run the QC Distance Classic before? Do you recommend it?

      I'm doing Dam to Dam on June 4th. There's also the Drake Relays half and another in IA City in April/May.

      I've done Distance Classic several times and love it though they have changed the course in the last couple years.

      Thanks! I saw a map online. It looks like mostly an out-and-back flat course. The Drake course has some hills, but it's a giant loop.

      The main problem with the QC race is that it's on a Sunday, and Laura would have to drive 4 hours home after the race, which is not good if she wants to walk the next day!
