Terrible Morning Run
3
mi
I decided to try and run in the morning even though I've been running at night for the past couple of weeks or months. My mind wasn't really into running at the time and I didn't get that much sleep the night before. Who wouldn't expect a bad run. It was supposed to be a hard tempo run too! Oh well, it's been a while since I've actually had a "bad" run, I can't complain. Maybe I'll try and redo this workout tomorrow night.

Ugh, sorry to hear things went so poorly this morning. Same thing often happens to me when I switch from morning to night, so I know where you're coming from.

Guessing it'll take you a few times to get your body used to morning...did you run the night before as well?

@Paul it was just a one time thing, and I didn't run the day before. Maybe I should start to run in the mornings again though, since my half will be in the morning!

Not a bad idea if you can stick with the mornings as your body will probably perform better come race day--as it will be more used to ramping up to exercise at that time of day...

When I switched to morning runs, it took a week or two to get used to it. But now I can't imagine running at any other time.

It is an adjustment, I know I have the same issues changing my times of the run.
