All right. I'm surprised by how much it DIDN'T suck!! I was a little worried because I was out p-retty late last night at a lynrd skynrd cover band concert. Don't judge me. I then slept till ten and my whole morning was just shot after that.
But I regrouped and went running about an hour before sunset and it was downright enjoyable. I'd like to thank those hours of cross training for making it seem like I'm not wildly out of shape. To think that a month ago I had to hobble home after 1/2 mile out. Doesn't seem that great when remember that three months ago I ran a marathon. :( ANYWAY, I ran down to a little park in the country club area, did 10 pushups (ohhhh yea) and then ran back. I did feel a little "twinge" in my knee towards the end. But honestly, I'm not sure if it was real or my imagination. I'm going to run again in a couple of days and make sure it wasn't a fluke. The last thing in the WORLD I want to do is become a snake wrangler. But the second to last thing I want to do is mess up the knee again.
Came back home and was feel unsatisfied so I followed up with 40 minutes of Pilates focusing on arms and abs. That got me properly tuckered out.

Nicely done! Love the pushups in the middle! Hope the twinge was nothing!

Nice job. Every run is better when it doesn't suck. And every mile after a late night partying counts as three, so you racked up seven miles in my book.

Freebird! Sometimes you just have to start slowly, but things come around after a while. Even if they don't at least you kept your consistency. Great job getting in a second workout.

No boring entry here! Great job!
Honestjim- "snake wrangler" refers to being a pentecostal (generic) religious nutcase who handles snakes (referenced in the Bible), and yes- it was historically much more common here in the fundamentalist protestant South... Y'all wouldn't understand ;-)
