Maybe that is what I need to get my mojo back, a motivational running book. I am not in love with running at the moment either. And you are right moral support is a big help.

This getting older malarkey is no fun. I used walk and run during my marathon training. Motivation can be difficult without an end goal perhaps setting one would help.

I'm regulated to good support shoes ever since I started running, and I often have to roll my feet on a frozen water bottle. All for the love. :)

Well done under trying circumstances. Try not to be too upset she has done so well. I am sure it is just a temporary blip. Try to be encouraging tell her how well she has done and can beat it again.

It's so great for you to get out even when you're feeling blah? Maybe a Vitamin D supplement or foods with Vitamin D would help. It sounds like you have pretty gloomy weather and don't get a lot of Vitamin D naturally from the sun.
