  1. RUN
SW Meuse Forest 3 mi 00:34 11:22 pace

(ds) Cold and misty so only a few people showed. Even these mini rolling hills totally wipe me out with the double. Glad to have got a run in though, the weather hasn't been great and won'... read more

  2. RUN
tired Inaugural SW Fort Meade 2.23 mi 00:25 11:13 pace

(ds) We finally got a Stroller Warriors chapter! Easy out and back course today. I'll be pushing the double at these workouts so my times will be woefully slllooowww. But that's ok.

  3. RUN
good Earth Day 5k (ss) 3.11 mi 00:31 09:55 pace

It's girls weekend so I took Gwen with me for my inaugaral post-baby 5k. I ended up running a nice little progression by accident. Humid and a little rainy towards the end but overcast and coo... read more

  4. RUN
    alright 2.58 mi 00:29 11:19 pace

First run with the double. Yikes. Structured the same as Monday's workout but the final run interval was a little over a minute longer just to get me back to the main road.

  5. RUN
    2.56 mi 00:28 10:57 pace

No stroller today, but warm. Did 4 sets of 6 run/1 walk. Verrry sore from Friday still, but that's part of coming back.

  6. RUN
    1.78 mi 00:20 11:23 pace

First run post-Gwen. Didn't feel terrible so that's a start! I will definitely be easing into things. Looking forward to the base 5k series over the coming months and the return of Stroll... read more

  7. RUN
    good 4.36 mi 00:44 10:05 pace

Slower than I was hoping but I'm pretty sore from Tuesday's workout. The temps were to die for this morning. I barely even broke a sweat! Got home and opened up all the windows to let tha... read more

  8. FIT
    good T25 Cardio 00:25

Skipped the run because it was supposed to storm and I didn't want to get caught away from shelter. Chose a T25 workout instead. I'll definitely be feeling this.

  9. RUN
    good 4.56 mi 00:45 09:58 pace

Squeaked in under 10mm average. Felt pretty good minus that right side cramp I always seem to get which came and went as usual.

Those side cramps are the worst. Do you think you're overheating maybe? Good on you for running through it. You're a tough one!

  10. RUN
    good 5.1 mi 00:53 10:17 pace

I'm plagued by stomach cramps these days. It's probably from dehydration but I'm running first thing and carrying a handheld so I'm not sure what more I can do.

Have you tried salt tablets before? I use them in high humidity and it keeps the cramping to a minimum

Can you leave a bottle of water by your bed and drink it as you're getting ready? Hope you find a way to solve it.

So humid. Climbed a couple hills and trucked around the neighborhood.

  12. RUN
alright Dicus Mill (ns) 4.1 mi 00:40 09:45 pace

Started this run off tired and water was jostling around in my belly. That resulted in a very slow start! I ended with a tidy progression and the final mile under 9:00 so that was a nice surprise d... read more

  13. RUN
    good 6 mi 01:02 10:22 pace

More hills today which slowed the pace a bit. I felt good from the beginning but then I had to fight a side cramp from mile 2 on - sorta put a damper on things. I finished up and was stretching in ... read more

I usually do about 20 oz per tab. You can also break them in half. But yucky when warm? I guess we'll have to disagree there. Of course, I only do lemon-lime and strawberry lemonade.

Chris - I haven't tried a saltstick yet. It sounds terrible but many people swear by them. And yeah, the trail is gonna be money once the temps dip. Any clue what time it starts getting busy on weekends? Parking was bad yesterday.
