  1. RUN
good Baltimore Harbor Path 4 mi 00:34 08:34 pace

Legs didn't really want to go today, but I managed to push through it and get my miles done. There's an algae bloom in the harbor which has killed lots of fish, making it all smell extra low-tidey... read more

  2. RUN
good Baltimore Harbor Path 6 mi 00:55 09:05 pace

Nice weather for a sweaty night run.

  3. RUN
good Baltimore Harbor Path 3 mi 00:25 08:23 pace

Fast, but no endurance. Guess that's what happens when you ride 25 miles in the morning and try to run in the evening.

  4. RUN
good Baltimore Harbor Path 4 mi 00:35 08:38 pace

Legs are coming back. Took the warm-up REAL slow and it worked out well in the end. That last mile was sub-8. It kinda had to be, since the first one was 9:20 or so.

  5. RUN
alright Baltimore Harbor Path 3 mi 00:25 08:23 pace

Hip still bugging me after a week+ of rest. Still, I found someone to pull for a while and ended up with a 7:50 mile in there.

  6. RUN
alright Frederick Half Marathon 13.1 mi 01:57 08:54 pace

Second part of the Nut Job Challenge. Not feeling too hot in the morning. Course was nice, fairly flat (don't let anyone tell you there were actually hills) and there was a misting over the first... read more

  7. RUN
    good Frederick 5k 5 km 00:26 08:16 pace

Hot but flat evening 5k around the Frederick Airport. Nice course! Aside from running on the horse track, that is. That part is awful. It's a nice lead-in to the half marathon in the morning.

  8. RUN
good Baltimore Harbor Path 3 mi 00:26 08:39 pace

New Shoes! They don't make my feet hurt, even if my knees are a little sore.

  9. RUN
alright Baltimore Harbor Path 6 mi 00:53 08:54 pace

More of the same. Knees, shins, feet hurt in a strained sort of way. Giving up on these shoes. I'm hoping that's the problem. Also post-dating this for yesterday. Don't tell anyone. Will be t... read more

  10. RUN
alright Baltimore Harbor Path 4 mi 00:36 08:52 pace

    Knees and feet are stiff.

  11. RUN
good Baltimore Harbor Path 10 mi 01:30 08:56 pace

Long and slow. Longest since the Cherry Blossom. There is something nice about running out of path before running out of miles.

  12. RUN
good Baltimore Harbor Path 4 mi 00:34 08:35 pace

Slower than the day before, but I got it all in.

  13. RUN
good Baltimore Harbor Path 4 mi 00:33 08:18 pace

    Nice Friday afternoon run.

  14. RUN
good Baltimore Harbor Path 7 mi 01:02 08:54 pace

Long and slow and a bit harder, but miles are miles.

  15. RUN
great Baltimore Harbor Path 4 mi 00:32 08:03 pace

Legs are back! The new insoles really, really help.

  16. RUN
good Baltimore Harbor Path 4 mi 00:34 08:22 pace

New insoles. These make a big difference in how these shoes feel. Guess I'm going to be buying a new pair of these with every new pair of shoes.

  17. RUN
alright Baltimore Harbor Path 3 mi 00:26 08:41 pace

Ugh. Really. Barely made it a single mile in there without stopping. Knees and feet are not happy. To top it off, I ruined a pair of insoles after this tryting to reform them. Maybe it's the i... read more

  18. RUN
alright Baltimore Harbor Path 10 mi 01:30 08:58 pace

Lots of starts and stops. Really not the best. Heat responsible?

  19. RUN
alright Baltimore Harbor Path 4 mi 00:35 08:39 pace

First run in a week. Could be better.

  20. RUN
    good Cherry Blossom 10-miler 10 mi 01:28 08:46 pace

Legs felt stiff the whole time, but I came in right where my training has been. New shoes are treating me alright so far. But another race goal for this year completed!
