tired Sleepy Lake 10K 6.27 mi 01:02 09:52 pace
Took Tonks out, she did great. Was going to go out for another 4 after dropping her off by the legs were tired so I decided I was done too.

RUN
good Pelican Marsh with Tonks 1.99 mi 00:21 10:18 pace
Took Tonks out on her second run. She loved it.

RUN
alright Towers Time Trial 7.01 mi 01:51 15:50 pace
Up in 1:08. Faster ups than the unplowed night for me, though others were faster that night. Top 2.5 miles were baseball and smaller sized chunks of very loose snow.

RUN
good Spring Creek, FUUC to Cathy F... 7.06 mi 01:10 09:56 pace
Taper is a good thing, feeling strong tonight

RUN
good CSU Track workout 6.27 mi 01:01 09:43 pace
5x800, 1x400. Cold and breezy out there and a little snow and ice on one corner of the track but not a bad day out. 3:59, 4:00, 3:54, 4:01, 3:54, 1:46

RUN
great Pelican Marsh with Tonks 2.41 mi 00:23 09:32 pace
First run with Tonks. She did well on the leash and didn't limp at all. She's a big fan of running in the snow!

RUN
good Edora/Spring Creek path cool ... 5.64 mi 01:00 10:33 pace
2.5 mile cool down with Nick, Sarah, Scott, and Alex then another 3 miles to the bagel shop. Yeah, the cool down began after I ditched the others, before that the cool down was kinda like a tempo ... read more

RUN
great T&H 8K - Edora 5.09 mi 00:42 08:10 pace
Ran this one pretty smart except miles 2-3. Should have pushed a bit more in them. Legs never felt dead which makes you wonder if you should have pushed more. It's hard to find the right si... read more

RUN
great Edora 1.54 mi 00:14:00 09:05 pace
Warmup for the T&H race. Felt good. I was hoping to get a longer warm up in but Nick had me starting sooner than I expected.

RUN
alright Bagel shop to FUUC 2.3 mi 00:22 09:46 pace
Difficult to get going again after stopping for coffee and a bagel. End of taper week 1, feeling pretty good I think, at least speed-wise. Of course Moab isn't about speed.
-
RUN
good Soderberg Trudge 5.5 mi 01:59 21:40 pace
Was hoping for a plowed Towers, but no such luck. Was able to make it up to a bit past Stout before seriously post holing - save for the normal drift on Towers just after the turn from Swan Johnso... read more

RUN
great Coyote Ridge Trudge 2.23 mi 00:49 21:47 pace
A big bunch of fresh snow fell overnight. Had found pounding through drifts, many knee-deep, a couple hit my hips. And of course a few bits of nearly clear ground. Good training for the Twin Mou... read more

Estimated time, forgot to start my watch a couple times. Stayed away from the fast guys up front and just enjoyed the run. Snow started just as we left Alex and Ean's, was snowing pretty goo... read more

RUN
alright Spring Creek - FUUC to Cathy ... 7.06 mi 01:09 09:47 pace
Was hoping to push this a little faster. Felt good and ran strong on the way back though. Streak day 100!

RUN
good Bernice 3M 3.22 mi 00:28 08:50 pace
Tempo-ish run as I'm going out for beers with Shawn during my normal speedwork time.
-
RUN
good Cottonwood School 3.94 mi 00:38 09:44 pace
Felt good. Wanted to go longer but time got away from me and it was late when I went out.
-
RUN
good Sleepy Lake 10K 6.72 mi 01:10 10:27 pace
Relaxing pace run. On the roads instead of getting in some vert I was hoping for, but a hectic and unexpectedly busy morning precluded that.

RUN
alright Circumnav with some side trips 23.91 mi 05:36 14:03 pace
First 12 were pretty fast with Marie and Karen, but also mostly flat and roads or good trail. Next 12 (Reservoir Ridge, Foothills Trail, Pineridge) were more technical and slower. Probably starte... read more

RUN
great Pelican Marsh run-walk with S... 2.11 mi 00:34 16:17 pace
Only second time out recently with Stella and she's improved from the first. Taking the dog definitely helps.

Nice job, Brian! Circumnav was a better idea than the trails in the parks.

Doing Res Ridge, Foothills, and Pineridge I only ran about 6 or 7 miles of road, S Dam to Blue Sky and then the couple miles out of Lory. Not huge vert, but decent enough for Moab.

Way to circumcise that navigation!
