Great practice hill run for SF Half! The first ~5 miles were strictly uphill so my splits are hilarious. I wasn't concerned about the pace. I just wanted to work with the uphill. But, the way back ... read more

  4. RUN
    good Intervals 6 mi 00:58 09:39 pace

1 mile warm up, 3 x 2000 w 400 m RI, 1 mile cool down to give me about 6 miles. Felt good. The 400 m RI were walking :) woops.

    great TM 7 mi 01:05 09:17 pace

yeahh! My tempo run called for 1 easy, 2 @ mid-tempo, 1 easy, 2 @ mid-tempo, 1 easy. So I was alternating between 10 min/mile and 9 min/mile. All I have to say is that it kicked my butt but made me... read more

      Nice Job:

LOVE IT! Great job!!! Treadmills are definitely awesome for putting us in our "place" in terms of pace. I think they are boring otherwise, but i do GREAT speedwork on TMs. Looks like you do, too!

I find a lot of times I feel really bad the first 4 or so miles, then towards the end my legs just click. Strange how that works, right?
