Another easy short run with my little furry friends. Yesterday I spent quite a lot of time stretching and today's run was a better one than the last time. I will run 1 to 2 miles for a while then I will increase distance gradually. Jeter and Cappy are now enjoying their frozen treats :-)

I am glad you had a good run. Sounds like the corgis are having a great day.

@Gavin, I gave them homemade frozen dog treats made of fat free Greek yogurt, 100 % pumpkin puree, and some peanut butter. If you're curious about this treat, check this link :-)

Nice run with you and the furry ones. I love to make my girls freeze pops. I freeze a Dixie cup with broth and treats mixed in.

@Melissa, I used to make their 'corgisicles' with low or no sodium broth and some buffalo meat but not any more because I need to cut down their calorie intakes. Corgis are notorious for being chunky so easily and my dogs got their frozen treats almost everyday - after they come back home from walk or run, they get their corgisicles. Now I make small sized treats and place them in the Kongs so my corgis lick longer AND I can save my rugs :-)

Yay for 'corgisicles'! Why shouldn't everyone have some summer-time fun- not just humans?! :)
