good Wednesday Morning Speedwork 8x800s 8.75 mi 01:03 07:12 pace

It was cooler and much less humid than the past few days. Although I was feeling a bit lousy and tired because I hadn't slept well the previous night, I found the motivation to hit the track anyway although to be honest, I really didn't feel like it at all.

After a slow (for me) warmup where I almost tripped over a rock because I'm sure I was still half-asleeped, I started on my 800s still not sure about the quality/quantity I'd be doing. The first set was the slowest because I was still waking up. The rest turned out okay although the time was a little erratic because there was a strong headwind for some portions of it. I was excited when I ran faster than 2:45 and a little bummed that the last couple were a second or two over. It's okay. I did my 8 and it was QUALITY!
