I've always hated that "mid-distance" of 6 or 7 miles. This is the 3rd run in 7 days of 6 miles. It doesn't seem so bad now.

Fun! I don't know if your dog helps you lift but mine loves to "help" me do a core workout. Usually that translates to trying to lick my face when I'm on the floor.

I've started to really want to get on my bike more. I still prefer swimming and running, but it is nice to find new places to ride. I, too, would like to try new trails to run or bike on. Do you ever check out www.traillink.com? Some of the trails are paved, others are gravel or dirt.

First ride in about a month. Everything was great until a bumble bee smacked me in the face. It didn't sting, but I was zooming down a hill when it happened. Better than inside my mouth I guess.

Yeah, that happens! Took a honeybee in the throat while at speed on a motorcycle - stunned bee fell inside my jacket. No sting, but ouch! Bumble bees are stingless, but big! Wear glasses when you ride.

I don't mind rain. I mind downpours. The worst are trail runs in downpours (High school cross country race flashbacks).
