Training plan only called for 16 but I had planned on doing the entire 21-mile run but decided to turn back at 8. Weather was perfect, beautiful route, great company. Wish I had a little more confidence that my feet would have managed the entire distance. Even so, I feel pretty good about this run.

    Jamie, the Striders are a great organization and I really need to join them! Deannah, I thought about you several times during this run, I know you wanted to be there! We watched a beautiful sunrise over the hills and since I got a great picture of a hot air balloon landing in a field on my way back. If I can figure out how to upload the picture here I will, otherwise you'll just have to friend me on Facebook and look there! LOL Are you still planning on doing Chicago?
