Not going to lie, I was very nervous about this run! Sad to say that my nervousness came off as negativtity to someone because I don't like to be negative and I don't like negativity around me. So for that I have to say I'm sorry because I know how much I hate that so definitely didn't mean to project that to anyone else! Now, that said, not a bad run! It was a tough, tough run and I would never have been able to do this without my friends! Ok, since that sounded negative I'll rephrase that to I could do it but it would not have been narly as much fun! I knew on the first lap that Inez and Natalya were not concerned about the pace so that helped me a ton in the first lap! We saw three deer which always puts me in a better mood! As hard as this loop is, I do enjoy it and would not keep going back if I didn't! Plus, I know it is great training for my upcoming Blue Ridge Marathon. I'm not sure I could find a better route around here to help get me ready for that! The second loop I was extremely nervous about because I ran with runners who are much faster than me, have better endurance than me, and do care about their pace. Thankfully when I came around for the second loop they were more than happy to accommodate my 1 minute run/1 minute walk interval proposal. The first loop was just so tough I didn't think I could do the 2/1's again! When I fell behind they took turns coming back to get me, and I fell behind on most of the hills. I walked 9 mile hill both times, which was fine by me! Sure hope the rest of the gang didn't mind but yeah, I couldn't have run that hill had I wanted to! I ran pretty good on the last little hill, mostly because I was ready to get it over with and ran the rest of the way without stopping! I even sprinted to the end with Jill H. and Dean B. who took no mercy and overtook me at the end! LOL Tough run, but with good friends, anything is possible!

It was a good run and you did an incredible job. It was your 2nd loop and only my 1st loop and I had to stay with you at the end. On that course, just finishing is a good thing. No need to worry about time on hills like that. And yes...have friends run with you makes it a lot easier and enjoyable, I know I would not do it alone.
