Nice 5 miler and good job pushing the pace a bit. I can't run without my zensah's compression leg sleeves anymore especially when I know there are hills on the course, calf cramps no more :). Great recovery too.

Don't worry about the pace. What's important is you get healed 100% before increasing the speed. Maybe, make it a next year goal. Stretch those muscles to lesson the soreness. Nice 5!

I know the feeling Kelley. It takes time to get back to where you were before the injury. I'm now getting my pace back from my injury in July. But like you, I was grateful to be able to run. I hope you get completely healed very soon.

Thanks everyone! Ray, I think I will try to run Bmore and just treat it like a training run...I know it will be really slow and involve some walking, but I think I'll give it a shot and see what happens. And if running Bmore without having really trained for it doesn't kill me, I'd like to do MCM too! ;)

Looks like the 20 miler today is a confidence booster. Agree with Barry, as long as the knee doesn't hurt anymore, you can treat Baltimore as a long training run and possibly race MCM.
