Sorry to hear about the ITB.. A half is better than anything, but remember; you are better of safe than sorry..

I think a half is probably the best distance for everyone (my bias). Hope that ITB heals quickly!

Glad to see you listen to your body (I'm a living proof that ignoring it doesn't pay off). Lots of luck with your last two month of training! I'm sure you'll do great!

Thank you for all your wonderful words. I really appreciate the support. It's tough having a 6-8 miler run on your mind and not being able to do it. ITB is feeling ok today so I may go for a short run later. Crossing my fingers... =)
