  1. goodTM Run 5.01 mi / 00:49 09:52 pace

I didn't have a specific goal mileage today, since I'm still testing the left ITB. I would have gone further but I wanted to play it safe. Aside from the ITB, my right ankle started flaring out. I realized it was more "form" related than a... read more

  2. greatTM Run - Semi ChiRunning 3.12 mi / 00:29 09:17 pace

I took 2 electrolyte tablets before both workouts. A nice change in comparison to Gatorade, which usually upsets my stomach. So far, I think I have found a solution to that dilemma. I was playing with my pace on the TM while practicing ChiRunning. ... read more

  3. greatMacGyver Miles 5.11 mi / 00:18 17.1mph pace

Warm up before my run. I challenged myself on the last 1.11mi and sped up to 20mph max. Glorious feeling not having issues with the left ITB so far. =)

  4. My Sensei's technique on how to run in the wind. lol

  5. Reality bites, especially when the ITB reminds you that. Therefore, LIM for me is now LI Half.... FIVE TWO TEN here I come!

Sorry to hear about the ITB.. A half is better than anything, but remember; you are better of safe than sorry..

Glad to see you listen to your body (I'm a living proof that ignoring it doesn't pay off). Lots of luck with your last two month of training! I'm sure you'll do great!

Thank you for all your wonderful words. I really appreciate the support. It's tough having a 6-8 miler run on your mind and not being able to do it. ITB is feeling ok today so I may go for a short run later. Crossing my fingers... =)

      Thanks you guys!
@Barbara - Thank you, I hope you recover fast too and keep us posted on your recovery.
@Ally - I'm sorry to hear about your back/hips. I hope you recover just in time. But it's always best to listen to your body.
@Nolan - I hope you won't need it later at all!! Keep up the runs safely!
@Alex - I can't be sure, and I can't speak for others. But last year, at this time, I was not injured at all...it is weird isn't it?
