Nice morning to go for a walk in the dark. Still trying to manage hectic weeks, but there's light at the end of the tunnel.

I hope your Achilles is continuing to improve!

I got kind of nauseous toward the end, but that can happen when you are a little out of shape, a little tired, a little over-stressed, a little broke from an emergency auto repair, and a little too full of leftover candy that didn't fit in Valentine's ... read more

Wow, sounds like you've got a lot going on right now. I know being stressed, makes it hard to pass up the extra candy. Hope things settle down soon.

I get nauseous over far less than that--you have good reason...hang in there!

This was a last-minute decision this morning, so I had to cut it a little short. Stayed up to watch "Lost" last night and then couldn't immediately fall asleep. That show will do it to you.

    • Vern M. Vern M.

Anne, I don't watch a lot of TV, but will confess to being totally hooked on Lost! Never missed an episode! That's a good walking pace! I always feel that 15 or better is moving well! Tendon a little happier today?

Started a new job this week and am trying to adjust to a new exercise time/routine.

For some reason, my torn-but-repairing achilles tendon is very tender again. I was fine on the walk but it's hurt since.

    • Vern M. Vern M.

I hate to hear that, Anne. I hope it's a very temporary setback!

Good luck on the new job! I'm sure it will take a little while to get into a new exercise routine. Achilles injuries take time to heal. Good luck on a quick recovery.

We did the perfect poses and stretches for me and all my tight spots. Felt like this class was custom-made today.

Ohhhh, isn't that the best? You were in the right place at the right time. Fabulous. Enjoy your day!

  6. goodGym Workout: Rowing 8 km / 00:53

Did "ladders" of 30-60-90-120 up and down until it was time for yoga to start. Love starting out the weekend with interval training.

  7. goodMission Bay Walk 2 mi / 00:30 15:00 pace

This hardly counts as a workout, but given how sore my achilles tendon was the next morning (maybe from wearing street shoes?!) I am counting it in the week's log.

I parked a mile from a triathlon expo so I'd get some exercise in on a very, very busy ... read more

  8. tired'Lite' Gym Workout 01:15

I didn't get much sleep last night, so I put off the gym until the afternoon and dragged the entire time. Hoping tonight brings on golden slumbers and tomorrow, a lot more energy.

Rowed 4500m in 30 min on very light tension.
Used elliptical for anothe... read more

I agree with you, hope today's workout and lack of sleep from the night before brings you sweet dreams tonight and renewed energy tomorrow.

It was a wee bit chilly and my body never seemed to warm like it does on a good run.

It is hard for me to get out bed to run when it is cold outside. We have been so spoiled living here. VA is suppose to get snow this weekend. Aren't you glad we live here?

  10. goodGym Workout: Row & Cycle 11.25 mi / 01:00

Did 5000m on the rowing machine, followed by 8.25 miles on the stationary bike. Did intervals on the bike to escape boredom.
