I need to drink more water. I was dehydrated and felt it, but all things considered, still a pretty decent run.

  4. RUN
    good Chip Trail 8.5 mi

Good run up until the last mile. BRUTAL! My legs had nothing left in them. I did walk/jog for the last mile. All in all I'm pretty happy. I'm suppose to do a 9 miles long run next week, but the 8 m... read more

  8. RUN
    good chip trail 7.4 mi

Really good long run. Body held up pretty well through the entire run, but my legs are dead now. My new shoes are wonderful, absolutely no complains. I'm pretty happy and satisfied.

  9. RUN
    good 3.04 mi

New shoes = much better run. I went and tried on pretty much every shoe in the store yesterday and finally settled on a pair of good ol' tried and true asics. Need a little breaking in, but 3 miles... read more

Yeah, I seem to always go back to them. You'd think I would have learned by now not to fix what isn't broken.

  10. RUN
    blah Dreadmill 3 mi

Ugh! Really bad run. First time I've run on the dreadmill since starting marathon training, and it was clearly a horrbile mistake. I felt so sluggish, the time seemed to drag and the last quarter m... read more

  11. RUN
    alright 3.9 mi

Every part of my lower body was stiff and sore for the first mile of my run. I'm sure I looked pretty awkward to those lucky enough to catch sight of me. My legs loosened up but my hips really star... read more

  12. RUN
    alright 3.1 mi 00:32 10:19 pace

I had the Joe Cain Classic 5k in Mobile this morning. It was so nice doing a race again, but I felt pretty sluggish and my knee and hip were giving me some trouble, but all in all, not a bad race.

  13. RUN
    great 6.43 mi

This is the longest distance I've run in more than 2 years. I started out feeling not so great...I do not recommend eating a hand full of candy hearts right before you run. I thought I was going to... read more

    good Chip Trail 4.01 mi

I ran with mi amigo, Shell. Really good run and it went by fast because I had someone to distract me. I'm doing a 5k on Sunday with her as well, my first race in more than a year. Very excited.

  17. RUN
    good 3.04 mi 00:30 09:42 pace

Good. Now that my mind is wrapped around longer distances, 3 miles just doesn't seem long enough, but I'm being good and sticking to the plan. Taping my toes helped exponentially! My new shoes are ... read more

  19. RUN
    great 3.04 mi 00:33 10:51 pace

  20. RUN
    good 3 mi 00:40 13:20 pace

I feel really good. I'm a pretty bad heel striker, so I'm conciously working on forefoot striking. I did about 80% of my run in this position...toward the end I got a little lazy, but all in all I'... read more
