I would proudly refuse their offer of free Kinvara's. I bought one pair, ran ~50 miles in them to rehab my left foot. They sat for 18 months and then I gave them away. I can't run with marshmallows strapped to my feet.

I ran in my kinvara 2's today. They are not my friend after about 5-7 miles. I get foot cramps in them... Won't be buying the 3's so I guess I'll have to deal with Saucony's ads all over dm for a while longer...

Derek .... you must be a barefooter or monkey feet if Kinvaras feel like marshmallows. I ran barefoot in the 60's and 70's when I was 50 pounds lighter and 40 years younger before it was cool. I haven't been able to get any lighter than kinvaras or found any others that fit my wide ass feet without rubbing blisters or being so long that they trip me!

and damn proud :) how would you like sex if you had only had it with your man wearing a condom made of EVA foam and then all of a sudden he took it off and you got skin to skin contact....you'd be pretty pissed to have that foam come back into your life wouldn't ya

Royce yep and I'm 180-185 lbs 5'-10" and haven't had an actual pair of shoes on in a month other than my Vivobarefoot Neo's to mow the yard in and work in the garden. It's hard to kick a shovel into rocky clay with a bare foot

I trained for this in 6mm Invisible Shoes: http://www.tsalifrostyfoot.com/frosty-foot-50k-course.php but my wife fell ill and I had to bail. I don't run barefoot all the time but I get a little bitchy in anything more than Altra Adams

I also retired a pair of 1's, am close to retiring a pair of 2's, have another pair of 2's in rotation and another pair waiting to enter the rotation! I'm a Kinvara fan. Everyone's a bit different. I'm not eager for the 3's because the 2's are working great for me. The 2's seem to be wearing better for me than the 1's did.
