    400 s always make me feel better. 16 400s with 2 minute active recovery. Pace was all over the place but I averaged near my 5k pace.

      mostly the lack of sleep and drive home, but the course was pretty challenging. We left the partying to all the Spartans. I've never seen so many people trying to run trails drunk! It was really pretty pathetic.

      I know hangover miles are bad, but I can't imagine drunk miles. People are dumb!

      Seems you had a great time, Royce. Relays are tough, partly because of the miles, but mainly being sleep and food deprived.

      you're right Helene. It was mostly the sleep deprivation. The heat and humidity was also an issue, even at night. I think I stayed on the edge of dehydration all weekend.

    Leg 2 red. This leg was rough! Hot and Humid, middle of the night with very little sleep! It was rocky and hilly. I forgot to stop my Garmin so the time is an estimate.
