  1. RUN
    good Getz 3.15 mi

Just a few hill repeats. 138 ft of ascent.

  2. RUN
    tired Getz 5.01 mi 00:57 11:23 pace

8th consecutive run day and my ass is dragging. I think I might rest tomorrow.... Or maybe not.

  3. RUN
good Cedar Hill ST Park 6.69 mi

State Park Hills. 413 ft of ascent. Ave. hr 154. It shows a spike of 205 so I don't think my strap is working right ....or my heart isn't working right!

  4. RUN
    alright Getz 8.08 mi

    Another 8 down.

  5. RUN
    good Getz 10.13 mi 02:12 13:01 pace

2/1, easy pace. HUMID! HR Ave. 130

  6. RUN
good Cedar Hill ST Park 6.05 mi 01:18 12:53 pace

The trails are too muddy so I ran the St Park Streets. Forgot my strap so no Hr data but I took it pretty easy for hill work. 358 ft of ascent but it feels like more. 85 degrees, sunny and humid!

  7. RUN
    good Getz 6.13 mi 01:06 10:49 pace

2/1s but I pushed it a bit. HR. Ave. 159

  8. RUN
good Whispering Pines Trail Run 10 mi 02:36 15:36 pace

Muddy, Humid and Hot! 997 ft of elevation gain. 164 hr ave., 181 peak. About 13 minutes slower than last year.

  9. RUN
    good Getz 6.01 mi 01:12 11:58 pace

    Ave Hr 148

  10. RUN
good Cedar Hill State Park 3.25 mi

Had to drive to Cedar Hill to find a dry place to run hills. I had forgotten how much I hate hills! 276 ft of ascent. Ave HR 137.

  11. RUN
    tired driveway 3.5 mi

Just a few in the driveway to finish out the week. Power hiked about as much as I ran. This should make my first 50 mile week of the year.

  12. Shared Photo

    One of tonight's snakes

  13. RUN
    tired Getz 5 mi 01:00 11:54 pace

And 5 more makes11. Lotsa snakes tonight. I was dragging, but my HR was surprisingly low. Ave. 141.

  14. RUN
    good Getz 6.04 mi

6 slow sweaty miles. Hr was a little better than yesterday. Ave. 135.

  15. RUN
    good Getz 13.04 mi 02:47 12:48 pace

I had planned on 5 to 7 miles today. I got a little carried away. Nice and easy pace but my hr ran a little high, Ave 151. I think it was the humidity. I was pouring sweat!

  16. RUN
    good Getz 10.16 mi

Easy 10@10. Slipped on the thin layer of mud on the concrete and took a pretty hard fall. I'm happy nothing is broken, but I'm gonna be sore by morning. The concrete is harder than the dirt.

  17. RUN
    Driveway 5.16 mi

Cinco de Hills ....315 ft of ascent. 148 hr ave.

  18. RUN
    good Getz 8.01 mi 01:42 12:44 pace

    Easy 8. HR 130 ave., 162 peak.

  19. RUN
    tired Getz 6.02 mi 01:06 10:57 pace

And 6 more makes 11. My body needed easy and my head needed hard. Ave HR 160, peak 187. First 5 2/1s and the last mile 9:35.

Pike's Peak will definitely get your attention. Only one hill along the way, but what a hill! And lack of oxygen too :-)
