Suppose to be an off rest day, but needed to test my knee and new shoes. Felt great, knee isn't hurting as bad, and I'm recovering well after long runs.

Hope the new shoes give you some relief from the knee pain. Looks like you recovered fairly well after your major weekend mileage.

I'm sitting at near 40 miles a week, and should be hitting close to 50 soon. I've blown through shoes before hitting the long miles. Tried the newer version of the NB 1080s, and they didn't work for me, blew out my calf. So I've pushed it off for too long and now paying the price. Knee feels ok today, but today is a day off. I replied to Mizuno that the shoes were really yellow. They told me they were very yellow, yet very fast. Hope they are right, and very comfortable too.

Wow. Very nice miles. Get a pic of the turtle? I'm famous for stopping my watch and forgetting to start it back up.

Left knee was slightly hurting a bit, might be my IT band. In a spot I haven't had pain before. Tomorrow is a rest day, hopefully that'll help. Sunday is a long day.

Impressive 20, Royce! Glad you had such a great day for it. Nice footwork avoiding the snake too :)

I hate snakes, probably hate them more than a shot of novacane in the mouth.
