injured Mississauga (half) Marathon 21.1 km 02:48 12:46 pace

The Mississauga (half) Marathon route was both scenic and enjoyable, making me forget at times how my knee died at 8K (which was an improvement over the TYS10K where it died at 5K). Walk/Run sessi... read more

David - Having tried the red-head route once upon a time, I can say this...Red heads get more attention, but blondes do have more fun. ;-)

JP - There's a DM pre-run meet-up. I'm going to try to get to it, but I'm shuttling in from the finish line so dependent on the bus drivers.

Stephanie - Thanks! Trying to do both! :-D

Ah well, you completed the race in a reasonably good time and I hope you generally had fun. Is your knee showing ITB or is it patellofemoral syndrome?

Saucony Triumph 10...haven't had an issue with them since the road went one way on ATB and my knee went the other way. Until then, they've been perfect. I think I wrenched my knee and I need to rest it up. Mississauga Half is in two weeks.
