  1. VELO
    great 144 km 06:12 14.4mph pace

My longest distance to I wanted fast and flat. Started off too fast, I think, but there was an inner drive to get this distance done no matter the cost. Minimal hills today - found a... read more

  2. VELO
    good 29 km 01:03 17.2mph pace

(from earlier in the day) Sweaty and chilled today...found it difficult to truly warm up despite the increased heart rate and speed work. Wasn't a ride I wanted to do - it was a long week at ... read more

    good 12.63 km 00:30 15.6mph pace

Stretched out the tendons and ankles...still sore from yesterday's ride for some reason. Just a quick spin to get the heart rate up. Playing with the new GoPro camera continues as I'm h... read more

    alright 70 km 03:02 14.3mph pace

Started off feeling sluggish and heavy. Finding a nice pace was beyond my body and mind. The time spent waiting for my Mom gave me some much-needed regroup time and the pace was better after that.

  5. FIT
    good 03:00

Does yard work count as fitness? Despite having some help with the larger aspects, 3 hours of pruning, weeding and hauling felt like squats and stretching with gardening implements in hand.

  6. VELO
    tired 21.75 km 00:48 16.9mph pace

Snoozefest...I honestly don't remember the ride. Bike. Pedal. Laps. Start and stop watch. Were there cars out there? People? Zzzzzz...

Thankfully, no horns honking at me or folks making creative gestures with their hands. :-) But I was zonked. Not sure where I found the energy to hit that speed let alone get on the bike in the first place. Feeling just as tired today and I can tell it wasn't a good rest based on the tension in my jaw. Good thing it's not Inappropriate Friday...some folks would run with that statement. *lol*

No doughnut for you, Craig O. ... you get the leg, instead. ;-)

But if it doubt, simply kneel and pay homage to the beauty around you. :-)

Taking time to stretch then becomes mandatory, as well. :-)

Stopping to enjoy the scenery is a must.

    good 102.87 km 04:25 14.5mph pace

Thanks to some planning, Mom did the first 30-ish km with me before pulling into her driveway for the day. I kept going. Saw a gorgeous doe...who approached me within several feet before deciding... read more

  16. This makes me laugh...I don't wear a heart monitor, but I do admit that when I'm not moving, I have developed the sudden urge to sit. *lol*

  17. VELO
    good 56.1 km 02:03 17.0mph pace

Did one particular rural block 6 times, incorporating some designated sprint zones in low-traffic areas. Time to kick back on the backyard patio with a loose, over-sized man's shirt, a book a... read more

  18. VELO
    good 55.8 km 02:27 14.2mph pace

Started around 645ft...tallest point reached was 1246ft. Rollers and some steep hills made the net 600ft seem rather insignificant, but knowing that some of these hills have bested me up until tod... read more
