Part of my 131km ride...probably the worst set of tracks on the entire route. Even cars delicately traversed them. But the trees, plants, open sky...makes a girl forget the bumpy tracks. :-)

hmmm you would hate East Yorkshire tracks and roads, it's like going back in time to where people didn't know how to fill in pot holes or make nice roads! Loving the fact you did 131 kms!

Oh, we have potholes...although, based on the two words that come out of my mouth each time I hit one, you'd think they were called something else. *lol*

131k!!! Holy cats, girl! That's awesome. And what amazing scenery ... the tracks make a beautiful (if bumpy) shot!

Thanks! After Saturday's less-than-stellar 51K, I realized that I had lost a bit of the fun-factor in my rides. So, while it was a long day on the bike, if something caught my eye, I stopped and took a picture. This particular marsh reminded me so much of Northern Ontario where I grew up.

Awesome that you were able to rebound from a tougher outing and really turn this one into a complete positive experience. Great to read this!

Fun factor is critical. You'll forget the pace and time that you did this in, but not the way it made you feel.

tired The 'Not Feeling It' Route 51.19 km 02:18 13.8mph pace

Why isn't there a "totally angry and disgusted with myself" emotion option? Reached zen with my mind, but just couldn't get the body to follow suit. Met my Mom in our designat... read more

    blah Training Route 002 17.93 km 00:42 16.0mph pace

Just not feeling it today. Better than nothing. I know I should have had a better pace with a longer distance, especially with the cooler weather, but the determination to climb the Wall of Menta... read more

alright Country Loop 44.19 km 01:53 14.6mph pace

Kept the pace down in light of the heat and humidity and sun. Managed to stay reasonably hydrated but the exertion effects are hitting me.

    good Training Route 004 26.54 km 01:07 14.7mph pace

Didn't crank it today...more focused on stretching out the body from yesterday's ride. Rain didn't help much to make me feel relaxed, but it did seem to keep the cars to a minimum. ;-)
