Since I am the laziest athlete this world has ever seen, I'm breaking up my weekend long run into three sections. Phase 1, nice and easy this morning. Phase 2, Moonlight half marathon tonight. Phase 3, pry my body out of bed for another run of between 5 and 7 miles. I have to get the mileage in, next week brings marathon taper time.

all the adjectives i would use to describe you (ie nice, funny, devoted...) lazy would never never never be on the list.

That's not lazy, that's just a smart way to break up a whole lot of miles. Your body will still see the benefit with far less side effects.

I've done that! Sometimes it's the only way to fit it in the schedule. Have fun at the moonlight half marathon!

I guess you can add me to the lazy list because I do that quite often! You are far from lazy...just take a look around you the next time you are walking through a store..etc!

I don't think you can call yourself lazy at all! Good luck at the moonlight half- I did that one last year and absolutely loved it- best ever! Wish I was doing it this year!

My usual practice (when I'm OK) and I don't call it laziness. You're such a smart girl!

Heather, I just don't see how you can put 20+ miles of running and lazy in the same descriptive paragraph of a single individual. Give it up, you're an "athlete"!!

You can do it!!

Rereading this and still don't know what to write so I won't comment except to say that I'm pretty sure you've earned your way into the 'Idiots running club'. Just saying! :+)

OK its your choice and you seem to have thought it through but physiologically will have little impact, psychologically thats for you to decide. Good luck with the serial.
