    Went by heart rate all the way. I managed to feel good for about 10 hours of the race, in spite of the rainy conditions.

    A nice, easy run on the treadmill. Keeping my heart rate in check, but managing my fastest pace in quite some time.

    Scott and I were supposed to do ridiculously long runs today, but we just didn't have the motivation. So we compromised with a 4.5 hour walk. Hey, time on your feet is time on your feet.

    I was supposed to run for 7 hours today. But I was having none of that. So 10 slow miles at the gym it was.

      Good 10 mile run, that is a big one. I've did 20 mile training runs with friends, but I cannot imagine what 7 hours would be like, with the right friends that would work miracles. I could not get motivated until this afternoon.

      7 hours on a treadmill? ?? Is that even possible! I think youre amazing to have done 10 miles on it. I would have been going stir crazy!!
