      Thanks Maggy. It wasn't just the heat and I really need to see someone about my foot - have just been putting off the inevitable. :-( Self diagnosis is plantar fasciltis. I am in so much pain when I first get up after waking or sitting down for a while - visibly limp along for a couple of minutes before getting to the less painful stage!! Sigh
