  10. RUN
    The cooldown that wasn't 6.01 km 00:45 12:02 pace

Yes, JJ! Feeling better but just got busy for a few days! Have been using arch support inserts since Tuesday - oh, what a difference they made even after one day! The heel pain I've been experiencing for weeks now is almost gone now.

  13. RUN
    Failed HM 13.5 km 01:45 12:33 pace

Ruchi, it seems your heel needs a break so you did the right thing. There's no reason to cause more damage and not be able to run long term. Rest up!!

Ruchi....don't run on it for 2 days and try to rest as much as possible.....see how you feel last day of the month. I think, if you are prepared for a bit (or lost of pain ) after for a few days afer your HM for the month, and you'll rest it, then I'd run. (we are all a bit crazy) but if you start and it hurts so much that you change your stride, i'd stop. Maybe walking it....or a combo of walking/running. You should really get to the doc...but you know he.she will say NO running!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Thanks everyone! Yes, the pain was better today but started up by the end of the day. The strange thing has been that for the last few weeks, it hurts more when I walk the dog than when I run on the TM - though it hurts AFTER I run. I'll see how I feel tomorrow as well as when I start running. I've been running a lot less than before so not sure what's causing this...

Good advice from the girls. I'd be cautious too, if you don't want to break the streak, you could just start and see how you feel. But, if its still hurting you gotta stop, you don't want to do more damage, you really don't.
