    First time I've run Wash Park. Managed to not get attacked by geese, though I did get hissed at. Also have a 10K picked out to run on Oct 28th.

    New longest run this morning. Was supposed to run 28 minutes but figured, if I can run 28 minutes, I can run 2 more minutes and make it 30.

    Legs are still recovering from Mt Shavano. Calves are really sore and all locked up from the descent. Ran an easy mile and walked a mile to try to loosen them up some.

    Climbed Mt Shavano (14,229 ft) today. 4,600 feet of elevation gain. That thing was a grind!

      No. The weather forecast was pretty bad for the day and the storms were building early. I was lucky to get Shavano done.

    Two miles felt slightly easier today. Not easy, just slightly more tolerable. One more mile and I'm at a 5k.

    90 degree high noon heat run. Was going for 25 minutes. Made it to 22 minutes before the heat stroke kicked in. Not in the least disappointed in myself since I was the only insane runner out there.
