Tuesday evening "Change-of-plan-now-tapering" sesh
1. Warm up and stretch
2. Treadmill (v. gentle pace, gentle constant incline, trying to rotate my pelvis a bit more, maintaining symmetry almost impossible, but it did feel easier) 5km, 28 minutes, 393kcals
2. Concept 2 Rower : 5km, 23:10minutes, 288kcals.
3. Upright exercise bike (One long hill, getting steeper as it went - BRUTAL) : 6.8miles, 30minutes, 291kcals.
Made a decision this week to race on Sunday, it's been a while, only 5KM, but it is through the streets of Aberaeron. Warm-up is running with the kids through the town for their 1KM, then I get thoroughly shamed in the adults 5KM, then we all watch the Olympic torch as it goes through the town ..... and finallly fish and chips - does it get more awesome than this?


Yes, if the fish & chips is accompanied by a pint, then it does get more awesome. But, even sans the pint, there's a lot of awesomeness already on the dance card. Well done!
