I've given up on Garmin's elevation tracker. The other day, on my normal run route that starts at approximately 700 feet, I started at -469 feet. Total gain was over 1200 feet. Ran basically the same route today and gain was about 215 feet.

Was the spike a random thing with the monitor, or was it due to the worry of being hit by a stray golf ball? I like your sense of adventure in trying out new routes!

Humidity is one friend I'd like to cross off my DM friends list - ha ha! That HR is incredible! I need to make myself run a 9:14 pace and see what it comes out to be. I know it wouldn't be that low. What's your resting HR? When I first wake up, mine is sometimes around 43.

I can't fully understand HR. The best I have seen my resting HR is around 58. Normally right around 60. I was hoping for a pace around 8:45 at recovery HR but was a little tired yesterday. Hope you have a great race this weekend!

Thanks for the offer, Robert, but I have it mostly in there already from MCM training. I should have said, I am tweaking it to enter my races and other conflicts so it will fit. I may contact you later, though, because last time I just ran the miles without care as to pace. This time, I want to follow it more closely. When it says 9mi LT w/4@15K-HMP, would you just run the other 5 at GA or recovery pace?

You got it. I would usually do 2 easy warm up around GA pace, 4@ HMP and the final 3 at recovery to GA, or whatever I could manage.
