    A few hamstring issues 4 the first 3 miles, but otherwise it went OK-I just really needed a double-digit run to feel like a "real runner' again :)

    4 the first time in yrs, I engaged in freshman/bonehead/dumba$$ runner 101 stuff-ate a piece of chicken an hour before I ran, and by mile 3 felt like hurling :-D

    OK I had a little r knee pain-but the hamspring pain was very minimal and dare I say almost all gone-PTL!

    Hamstrings are goofy-it hurts for the first 3 miles, and then settles into a faint, dull pain

      Better than the other way around. Have you tried heat (hot compress)before running and ice after?
