  8. I need to tackle nutrition for running. I eat HORRIBLY. Anyone have any good sites or diets to recommend that aren't some funky concept?

      i've just been using myfitnesspal to count calories. i'm not sure if that's specific enough for what you need.

    First run in a long time because of knee/shins. They felt much better, but I was very sluggish from not having run for a while. Let's hope the pain stays away and I can re-focus!

    Shin splints not getting any better... And hills look much bigger going up than coming down.

    The shin splints did not go away with rest... I do not even feel tired during my running sessions, but shin splints kill the mojo. I need to get this figured out...

    I don't know if its the shoes, the hills outside or just being tired... But my shins were on fire during this run. I was very disappointed with the performance.

      As soon as its not pitch black at 5am or not raining on the weekends. I've noticed my outdoor pace is much faster than what the treadmill says and I enjoy it a lot more.

      ah, i also haven't figured out what to do with the rain either. i've been running in the dark & am worried about when the heat comes how i'll do.

      I run at 5am almost daily. Great way to start the day! Also a heck of a thing to have a 10 miler in on long days before most people get up for work! :-)
