Meetup!!! It was an absolute delight to finally get the chance to run with Rachel F. this morning! We planned to meet at 6 down at the South Waterfront, so I arrived a little early to slow-run out the aches in my right Achilles (it was super sore this morning) before Rachel arrived. I knew the pace would pick up at that point. :-) I actually surprised myself at how well I was able to keep up conversation at a much quicker pace than I'm used to for talk-running (9:00ish). Even though we didn't have a ton of time (my bad) it was so good to finally run together and to enjoy the sunrise over the Willamette!

Before I had to take off, I had the further good fortune of spending a few minutes nattering with Heidi D.! Looking forward to a future time (soon!) when we can all run together.
