NICE JANEEN!
Injury-free, stay happy, more mileage, more races, beating PR's, pretending to be pro, meeting great people. Randomly friending people is what I do best.
Last workout 26 days ago. Help get them back on track!

In today's TDF stage, do you agree with what Contador did? (i won't disclose more to avoid a spoiler)
yes....
about 1 month ago...but think about who also went off the front first. AC had to go with them since they did not wait...i would like to see andy win but also understand that sanchez and menchov are still in the race as well....two big climbs and a TT to go. and there is nothing like a little anger in the tummy to get andy to turn those pedals faster...
about 1 month agoWhen contrasting this against similar scenarios that played out in past TdF's it seems a little out of line. In the end though, it's easy to pass judgement from the couch and miss what's really happening. Like you say, there's so much more to go, and there's some amazing riders out there. I don't watch TdF for the winners anyway - I watch it for the domestiques!!

Wow, good for Jack. That just shows what an amazing spirt a lot of the Achillies athletes have. I would have been so disheartened if that happened to me.

about 1 month agoNYC Tri Run. The heat was killer. At every aid station I just dumped cold water on me to keep cool. I haven't done a 10K race since oct 09 and I finished that at 52:08 so my time wasn't too far off... read more
NYC Tri Bike. My goal was to avg 20 mph and I averaged exactly that. Could've went harder but wanted to save my legs for the run. Good enough for 341st out of 3472

NYC TRI Swim. My swim is weak and have a lot of work cut out for me this year and look forward to improving. Good enough for 2864th / 3472
Le tour's mavic neutral support bikes are cannondale caad9 frames (aluminum). This is the last year it'll be made in USA.
Wow, imagine having to trade out your fancy, SRAM Red full CF high quality bike for... that.
about 1 month agoStill nicer than what most 'serious' riders ride.
about 1 month agoThat is true. And it's happy yellow. Lance could have done with some more happy after that stage a few days ago.
about 1 month agoI'd still be tempted to hail it for a ride though!
