Rina I always feel sluggish after a massage. I cant imagine doing speed work the day after one.

You got it done, Rina - that's what counts :)

Nice Run Rina. Maybe you are tired because you did some speedy intervals.

Wow. Very fast run! I know you keep on top of these things, but here's a quick read on overtraining: http://sportsmedicine.about.com/cs/overtraining/a/aa062499a.htm

This is a great workout! and a great average pace for sprint intervals. Nice job!!

Fab run though Rina! The tired could be the massage - although it will benefit in the long run they apparantly can make you weary. I always look at diet first - then someone will always ask "are you doing too much?"Take care x

Thanks all! Figured out the tired part. Driving for over 2.5 hours to get to Moncton on Sunday after a 3 hour shift work and stoping along the way to shop for work clothes. Shoping in Moncton. Spending the evening at the ECMA awards to see my son. Driving back home at 11:30 pm. Home at 2:30 am. Up at 6 am to work an 8 hour shift. Massage on Tuesday along with other things that needed to be done, like raking the lawn, etc. Up at 4:30 am 'cause I was supposed to run at that time. Work for 8 hours,

then out for the run right after work.Me thinks that's why I was so tired.Went to bed at around 7:30 last night after vaccuming the carpets and posting here. Even left the vaccum where I stoped. Almost triped on it this morning. Forgot to mention the 'hot' bike session at the gym before my massage on Tuesday morning. I can always figure it out once my body and mind are well rested. Sleep usually catches up with me and I let it. Good thing 'cause I don't know what I'd do...find another marathon? :+)

Just saw your "hilly" - Dublin has a few inclines, but, not what we call hilly - not in N.Devon anyway!

Hi Ruth! I virtually visited the route a few days ago and really didn't see that many hills either, just small gradual inclines. A little bit disapointed but we'll have fun I'm sure. Have to admit that Ireland was not on my bucket list but since signing up to go I'm really exited. Looks like a gorgeous place to visit! I love walking and hiking and seeing beautifull contrysides and meeting people. Canada being a 'new' country it'll be my first look at 'real' historic sites. :+)

Hi Rina. I worked and lived in Ireland for some years. If you get the chance try and see a little bit more than just Dublin. There are lots of beautiful places well worth a visit.

Hi Ines! I'm planning my 'big' vacation around visiting as much of Ireland as I can. Any suggestions on places to visit and others to avoid will be greatly appreciated. How's the driving, roads out there? Read that buses aren't very reliable. True or false? :+)
