    IT band and other foot problems made this a painful race but got it done somehow. I was tempted to call it quits 10k in but persevered

      I wonder if you can actually find them any more! Back in the day, lots of people made their own (cut out the seam and sew in a triangle. Many didn't even bother matching the material, but used some red cloth or something, which was part of the schtick.)

      Sorry to see you seem to have gone over to Strava along with everyone else... I miss your posts, and I may not see you at races much (I'm not doing Oakville this weekend for instance, alas)... but it's been good while it lasted. I see you on FB when I make one of my very rare visits there, so I know you're alive and well and still moving!
