There's still a way to go yet, it wasn't entirely pain free, but at least I could go hard up the hills even if turning a big gear on the flat Cancellara style was a step too far. Now have the knee fully taped up in a step to keep the patella tracking correctly, and have a nice supply of Ibuprofen to keep any inflammation to a minimum.
