5K is at Hanahan High thru the town. It is a charity run for a scholarship being given in honor of one of our fantastic teachers who died far too young last year. We miss her greatly.

Not really a race just a hometown run with my brothers. Lots of empty shops and houses along the way. Windy with a long steep bridge for miles 3 and 4. I'll take it.

Just can't seem to get into a consistent training mode. The 5 a.m. runs are getting tougher as it gets cooler and I get older. Work makes it impossible to have a set time in the afternoon or evening.

Problems at work made me miss yesterday's doc appt. They had an opening for Thursday so I was able to reschedule. Hope it's good news. I'm doing the Mud Run Saturday regardless.

"On a hill midst Oak Trees"...... Hills of Hanahan... Very nice race and great pace. Be consistant with the miles and don't push too hard.
