    great Yeah, that's right. 250 yd 00:15:00 105:35 pace

First time I can remember swimming laps for exercise. I stopped to rest after the first 50, and then after every 25. I'll certainly not be winning any races, but I like the feeling of differ... read more

    good 1/12 of Jenn's Route 2.3 mi 00:27 11:44 pace

Reminded me how wonderful it is to run, and how healthy my leg is not. Beautiful trail, nice weather, excellent company!

  5. RUN
alright Tomoka Half 13.15 mi 02:30 11:23 pace

Lots of pros about this race, and lots of cons. Best part was having Jenn L., after 4 bridge repeats, run the last mile+ with me, and lead me up and down the bridge. My worst half-marathon finish... read more

Pros: I got to run! It was with Kimberly B.!
Cons: My leg effing hurts. Lots of bugs flew in my mouth, eyes, ears, and hands. New-shorts chafing. Stomachache from the big dinner. Headache.

Nice weather for a conversation-paced run with the husband. Right shin/calf still giving me some twinges that I don't like, but not any real pain pain.

  11. RUN
    blah Swamp House Loop(ish) 13.27 mi 02:25 10:54 pace

Got to run with Kimberly B. and see lots of WVR friends. Other than that, though, this run was not so great. At least there's always next week!

Don't be too hard on yourself! That's a distance PR, right? New achievements aren't always supposed to feel 'easy'. You're doing awesome and have built your mileage up so nicely since the fall (when you weren't running at all, remember??!!). I'm excited for your race next week!!

    great 5 a.m. Hill Repeats 4.01 mi 00:40 09:51 pace
