      Eric - one of these years, we'll run a full together. I would enjoy that as well. Though this race was poorly organized and in places dangerous, it was the company that made it good. If I'd not had Charlie to run with, it would have been a while different proposition.

  8. The hay is in the barn. Flat Brian is laid out on the bed. I have some laundry to do and some kids to put to bed, and then it's one sleep until the marathon.

    I played pretty well today. Then to finish the lesson, the coach and I played a match. I never scored a point. Always nice to be put in my place, eh?

    Easy does it - warm up for tennis on the track. It was cool enough out this morning that I wore sleeves for the first 1600m or so (and wore my Run DMC hat for the bike ride over).

      LOL. that weather app lied!! i was once out on a bike ride, at least 20 miles from home and the sky just opened up. i took out my phone and looked at the radar. not a single thing was showing up on the radar. i was super confused!
