Worked last night and again tonight (doing 5 in a row :() Daughter jogged the first 3.7 with me at 12 minute pace.... I ran the rest with about a 10:25 pace or so... stopped the Garmin for a minute to get a drink (she drove and bought me a gatorade - mobile drink station, lol) FORGOT to restart for .2, so I had to base it on my pace for that mile. Started very blah, finished strong. I have a half to run next Saturday, then I think I am gonna cool it on the half-sies until August. Now, sleep....

Great job on the run!

Thank you! I haven't been running like I should (its getting so hot outside). I needed a good 6-8 mile run before the race this week....

Nice job. I will be doing a half next sat also. It's one of my favorite distances.

I lie the half because you don't have to crazy train... If I can run 7 or 8 miles, I know I can run 13. I would like to run a full marathon in the next year or two, but I know I am going to have to commit to some hard core training. I don't think I could ever run what you run, Josh! You're a beast!!!

I remember doing my first half and was scared out of my mind and I slowly worked up to what I do now. I have the same thought Rene on " if I can run 7 I know I can do 13" and then I thought if it can do 13, I'm sure I can do..... and it just kept going up from there. 13 is a fun distance b/c you are right, you don't have to go crazy and it last long enough to enjoy it and not say "its over already". You work hard for it and its a respectible distance.
