      Good run, Brittany! The sugar in sports drinks like Gatorade is a good source of quick-release energy for running. These drinks have sugar in about a 6% solution, which is the optimum for quick absorption. Before my long runs, I drink about a quart the night before, and another one in the morning, shortly before I go out!

    So sore this morning, so instead of running, just did a fast walk. Felt good but still can't get used to the cold in the morning. Need to buy layers asap!
