    Four quick miles yesterday on treadmill + 8 easy this a.m.

    A slight detour caused me to run a bit further than intended with husband. Felt great on most of the run, but he pulled away decidedly in the last mile. Endurance doesn't come easy!

    Finally pushed myself out of my comfort zone and tacked on a few more miles. I wasn't breaking any speed records, but I felt I could have gone just a bit farther. Perhaps next week.

Seems to be working, but you know I am craaaazy about shoes. @Dominick -- Yes time to turn it up a bit before the heat gets out of control!

      I was following along, Rebecca, and was so glad you two had each other for company for at least a while! I'm very, very glad you had each other to hang out with afterward too. You ran a tremendous race and are safe and at home. Those are two things to be very happy about! I can't wait to read your blog post! Great job!!!

      So thankful we met up this weekend. You ran an amazing race on such a brutal course! I know it's hard to feel any joy whatsoever, but you ran strong and should be so proud!! You're amazing!! We will have to run another race together so we can celebrate properly afterwards! I am looking forward to your blog post. So very relieved we were all safe, especially Tania.     Very slow three miles. Leg feels worse, but I'm hoping it's just because I had a massage yesterday. Shed a few tears. Hoping a few days off will help.
