The RagMag said 9.1 miles, but real-time runners were saying 9.7 is more accurate. All I know it that it was tough and it got done.

FIT
alright The Colonnade Fitness Center 3 mi
Jogged/Walked this sucker - it's part of my strategy. The goal is 35 miles a week, running every day and trying to increase on distance and speed. This is an interesting challenge.

RUN
tired The Colonnade Fitness Center 4.5 mi 00:52 11:26 pace
Why is it that when I run on a treadmill I'm a lot slower and get tired more easily than when I run outside? It's quite annoying. 7 weeks and counting, no more time to mess around.

RUN
tired Danny's Trail 3.5 mi 00:39 11:14 pace
Thanks Big Poppa Tom, your words of encouragement got my butt in gear! I went for a run with Sass Master J and we figured out how to get up on the abandoned tracks in Bucktown.

RUN
blah Detroit Hotel Runnin' 3.5 mi 00:37 10:35 pace
Today's run was insanely boring and it felt like forever! Probably because it was on a treadmill and Anderson Cooper was the only one around to keep me company.

RUN
alright U Village 3.5 mi 00:34 09:35 pace
Felt horribly guilty for not running with the Sape Run4MC Crew yesterday that I ran today with Julie Capron - aka Julie-G, aka JC Sass-a-lot, to make up for it. Boom Boom Bex ain't no quita!

Maybe it's your shoes, both running and work/casual shoes. While I can't run in them every time, I love my Merrell Trail Gloves (Pace Glove for women); I wear them casually a lot and since getting them I find it harder to wear normal heeled shoes to work. Obviously I don't know what you run in, but maybe some reduced shoes (Nike Free Run) or even more minimalist shoes will help with your aches. That, and probably a little rest!

Thanks, Joe. I'm suspecting the quality and fit of my work/casual shoes. I recently bought a slew of pairs and since wearing them I haven't been feeling good with my runs.
