"Tempo Run". Yea... 11 minute miles is "speed work" for me. haha. I know most of you probably warm up on miles faster than that, but 11:00 is 1:00 faster than I normally run a mile. Wahoo! Just 1:00 off from my 10:00 mile goal! I will be finding different ways of working on my "speed" on Thursdays.
Today was hard for me. It was tough to catch my breath in the last 2 tenths of a mile. It felt good because of what I accomplished, but physically, it just felt alright. I had to put my hands on the rail for about 5 seconds, twice to catch my breath.
Tomorrow is a slower day & Saturday is a "long run" (just 2 miles to start). 5 minute warm up & cool down.

Nice work Ray! Especially on a treadmill! I have such a tougher time on treadmills and given the cold have at least found an indoor track to use, so props for doing your speed work there.

@Brian: It helps to visualize goals. LOL. I told someone that the pic was from when I was in "contest mode" but I'm currently in the "off season" and that is why I'm fluffy & retaining water. They believed it! haha
