good Saturday LSD, on a Sunday 10.9 mi 01:46 09:42 pace

Took Saturday morning off and pushed LSD to Sunday. This was my first double-digit run since the marathon and the first serious LSD on my training plan for San Francisco. Ok, yes, I've said it publically now so I guess I just committed to it. :-)

My goals with this training plan is to (a) improve my marathon time, which shouldn't be too difficult as long as I avoid injury along the way and (b) focus on slowing down my LSDs in order to make my weekday runs better. I've a consistent problem of neglecting the S in LSD, as I did this morning too. Ran standard 9|1 run|walk intervals and brought the splits in at 10:18, 9:50, 9:59, 10:03, 9:14, 9:28, 9:36, 9:44, 9:19, 9:30 and 8:42 (about 9:40 pace) on the final 0.9. Overall happy about today's run, but I'll be feeling more than I want to during the week.

Note to self: run slower during LSD!!!
