      They said unlikely that it's a tendon issue, but that would take PT and lots of crazy cross-training (like underwater running??). Ugh!!!

      Barf. That's never the case for me. I used to do strength training classes at 5:30 AM on Wednesdays and I was a zombie the rest of the day. And insanely effing hungry.

      Dogs are the best running buddies because they smile the entire time and they're way less skilled at hiding their disappointment at excuses or quitting than human running buddies. I assume you're doing RTP, then? That was my first half, too!

    Megan M. and I ran for 2 miles before walking the remaining 3.8 miles around our neighborhood and up to the trail. Pretty fun morning run, and it was great to get out of the house again!
