It started out okay. I stretched, brought my water with me and set off. One minute walk three minute run. Felt good. Next I walked one minute and jogged for 3 1/2 minutes. That jog was okay too.
The next cycle, I planned on walking 1 minute and jogging 4 minutes, but I ended up jogging only 3 minutes. At this point I was at the 1 mile mark and had turned around. I walked the minute and from there jogged in spurts. I ended up walking most of the 2nd mile back to my bike. ugh...
I normally jog first thing in the morning and I ate, but not a whole lot. I might end up going back to the shoe place. I notice that when I walk/run, I'm on the outside of my feet. I'll give it another run before I decide to exchange them or keep them.


What a bummer. It is so frustrating when the training doesn't go well. The hot & sunny conditions likely had a lot to do with it, if that helps. Hopefully you'll exceed your expectations in the next run!
