It is a really good race and I hope to keep running it. I did run it last year, it was my first 5K ever! I did run the whole thing, minus the water stop, times two. The route is two laps around a park.
The weather was perfect. A bit chilly, but the sun was out and the route is shady.

That's a great 5K time Emily! Sounds like it was a fun time. Congrats! And chilly is good for racing. Maybe not so good for standing around afterwards though.

I ended up not showering right after, but that night. As a PS: found out Monday morning that the lake we ran around, had a dead guy in it! And we ran round him twice!
