The kids are still gone and the morning is cooler. I did run the first 1.5 miles with only one stop, cars were coming, so I couldn't cross! I walked the next 2/10 to the water fountain for a drink. Onward home, I had to pause again for cars and then mostly ran the rest of the way home. My first 2 plus mile run since my last 5K. Here's to cooler weather.

I hope so. I love summer and the heat, but I hate running in it. I hate the cold of winter, but I don't mind running in it. How screwed up is that??

It's definitely cooler, but I think the big difference is the lower humidity. Thank goodness! Congrats on bumping up the distance.
