My first morning run in a few weeks. Yesterday my foot was pain free so I took one more day off and tried a run today. Yeouch! I'm beginning to think PF as opposed to impact type injury. I've noticed in my VFFs I'm fine, in shoes it hurts. I'm going to experiment with that a bit in the coming days. For now back to ice and hobbling.


Sorry to hear you are having foot issues. Great pace, though! Freeze a golf ball and roll your foot around on it.

Sounds like you might need to run in the VFFs (or something equally minimal) more. Nice run, man. Hope that you heal up fast.

I can relate to the foot pain. Does it hurt most in the morning? Calf stretches seem to help me the most. And not running :(

Thanks for the encouragement. It's not a morning issue in fact it seems to get worse through out the day (as I pace around the office and what not).
I ran past a golf ball in the ditch on my Tuesday route. I'll have to look next week and see if I can pick it up. Rev I've been watching your restraint of recent I hope I can be a good student.
