Last big swim of the week. I read a swimming book, which basically says I suck at swimming because I don't swim enough. So I committed to three days this week with IM distance or greater swims, two days back to back. I realize that's not a lot of yardage for a swimmer, but it's a lot for me, and lord, my shoulders were screaming by the end of this workout.
5x400, 200 kick, 300 pull, 8x50, 5x300, 200 kick, 300 pull, 100 easy
